Built in plain sight.
Our motto describes how we run a job. You see the programme, the price line by line, and every decision that changes either of them.
The six stages of every job.
At every stage there is something in writing you can check.
-
Call and site visit
We visit, measure and talk through what you want, your budget and your timing.
You get: a written note of what we agreed to price.
-
Itemised quote
Every trade, material and allowance on its own line, with exclusions stated plainly.
You get: the full breakdown, not a single figure.
-
Agreement and programme
Scope, start date, programme and payment stages are agreed in writing before work starts.
You get: a programme and a payment schedule.
-
Build
Work runs to the programme, managed by a named project manager. We keep the site safe and tidy and remove our own waste.
You get: weekly progress updates with photos.
-
Changes
If something changes, by your choice or because of what we find once walls and floors are opened up, we price it and agree it in writing before we do it.
You get: a running record of every change and its cost.
-
Handover
We walk the finished job with you, fix the snags, and hand over certificates, warranties and manuals.
You get: a final account that matches the quote plus the agreed changes.
Every line, in writing.
Our quotes follow the layout shown here. Each section lists the work and materials it covers, so you can see where the money goes before you agree to anything.
Payments
Payment is split into a deposit and stage payments. The stages are set for each job and agreed in writing before work starts.
Changes
No extra work goes ahead on a verbal estimate. Each change is priced, with any effect on the programme, and you approve it in writing first.
Final account
At the end you get a final account: the original quote plus the approved changes. Nothing appears on it that you have not seen before.
| Section | What it shows |
